Nuns on the Bus 2016 – Send-off

As a way of drawing attention to the divides within our country, the Nuns on the Bus 2016 will begin its cross-country tour. Included in the itinerary are stops at the Republican and Democratic Convention sites. As the trip begins, a blessing will take place in Madison, WI, at 7 pm on July 11th. The actual tour will launch in Janesville (Speaker Ryan’s home district) on July 12th at 9 am. It would be a way for CSA Sisters and Associates to show support for Sister Clare Lawlor and Sister Julie Ann Krahl who are traveling with Sister Simone Campbell during the first half of the trip.

    Dear Clare, I'm so happy that you are participating in this experience. I know that you will both return with great stories and important information to share about what you witnessed and what you learned in the process.
